FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - RECYTYRE - EVERE

I. THE ORGANIZATION

The NPO Recytyre, managing body for waste tires recycling lifecycle in Belgium, is founded by the main tire producers and -importers and some of the leading members of Federauto. This, with a view to comply with the obligations and objectives as described in the environmental agreements, and as stipulated between the partners.

The day-to-day goal of Recytyre is to take care of sustainable sequence waste tires- treatment with future vision in a continuously mutating world.

II. THE POSITION

Scope of the position

As a Financial Controller, reporting to CFO,  you are a key contributor in a fast evolving organization. You support the management in the steering process of the company.

Principal areas of responsibilities 

• Supervision of outsourced accounting (coding documents, recording limited number of documents, monthly and yearly closes, credit control).
• Personnel administration and employee on boarding.
• Product database management and maintenance, fee calculation.
• Detailed forecasting, budgeting, controlling and reporting.
• Build relationships, sustained values & savings.
• Operations: pay suppliers, process members audit results.
• Setup case handling procedures and help working on improvement initiatives.
• Cash management.

III. PROFILE 

• Bachelor in Accountancy or equivalent (option controlling).
• 3 years or more experience in a small or medium sized finance department or company.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience in tyre sector is an asset.
• Experience with VENICE accounting package or equivalent is an asset.
• Experience with Isabel.
• Proven ability to think global but also to get into the day to day details.
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English.
• Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude.
• Good communication skills and capability to work in team.
