FILLED CFO - CITRIQUE BELGE - TIENEN

I. THE ORGANIZATION 

Citrique Belge in Tienen is one of the world’s leading producers of citric acid and generates with over 250 employees an overall turnover of appr. EUR 130 M.  The product is used as a pH regulator and flavor enhancer in soft drinks, fruit juices, sweets, jams and jellies. It is also used as a binding agent in biodegradable detergents and in other applications such as antioxidant. Citrique Belge has been producing citric acid since 1929.

In 2010 Citrique Belge was acquired by ADCURAM Group AG.

II. THE POSITION 

Scope of the position 

In order to assure and expand their market position, our client is currently looking for a CFO who will be responsible for several divisions of the commercial services area. Reporting directly to the CEO of Citrique Belge, you will supervise a team of 20. 

Principal areas of responsibilities 

• In charge of all relevant divisions such as Finance and Accounting, Controlling, HR, Procurement and Customer Service.
• Analyzing and planning both internal and external processes in close collaboration with the local management.
• Assure company’s liquidity as well as financial and capital budgeting.
• Continuous monitoring of the expense and profit situation and further development of underlying processes.
• Organizing and implementing forecasts, also during the financial period.
• Responsible for both sales and production planning.
• Definition of procurement strategies regarding all components.
• Enhancement of the current HR-Management.
• Contact person to tax accountants, auditors and insurance companies.
• Maintenance of SAP processes (especially CO-PA, CO-OM, EC-PCA and CO-PC).
• Assure in-time reporting to the corporate controlling as well as to the board of ADCURAM Group AG.

III. PROFILE

• Successfully completed university degree with focus on finance and controlling.
• At least five years of experience in leading mid-sized teams within international companies (ideally acting as a CFO) from chemical - or process industries.
• In-depth knowledge of and familiarity with implementing all relevant controlling tools and methods.
• Proven track record in planning liquidity and financial budgets.
• Used to build up the financial statements in line with IFRS and Local-GAAP.
• Familiar with SAP R/3 (FI / CO / MM) and MS Office.
• Self-confident and cool-headed personality.
• Professional and binding appearance.
• Used to work within an international and multi-cultural environment.
• High level of communication and presentation skills in both Dutch and English; German would be a plus.
• Team leading competence in line with the willingness to get things done.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, cost consciousness and hands-on mentality.
